Ok, so I have been using an Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad with my PC ever since I replaced my iMac (not going to throw away a $50 keyboard m8). With the recent release of the very sleek and minimalist G610 Orion keyboards from Logitech, I want to upgrade my keyboard. But I cant bring myself to choose between upgrading my storage to an SSD or getting a keyboard. Both options will bring practical, noticable improvements to my user experience..........but I dont know if the SSD would be worth it (probably a 500GB 850 EVO).....my HDD is plenty fast. I honestly dont see what the fuss is about over SSDs. Any thoughts?

For me personally, I would go with the keyboard. I had to use a default apple keyboard for years, and I've slowly grown a hatred for it. But if you can't live without a faster storage component, go with the SSD.

If computers have no doors or fences, who needs Windows and Gates?

Depends what you need most, Do you badly need a keyboard? Like are keys falling off ;-; or your read/write performance would be a better idea to be higher as I game a lot and need that more time.

In the end its your choice.

The current Apple keyboard is basically brand new. I clean it and it looks and works great (drivers yay!) . My read and write is not great....it is a HDD, but I rarely do large file transfers, and my gaming situation is "meh" I don't do intense games. World of Warships, War Thunder, Star Trek Online, KanColle (Japanese flash based browser game) so my load times were never an issue.........ugh. I dont know what to do xD

The standard wireless Apple keyboard is terrible xD its so small and cramped, the 10 key wired version I have come to like. I can type fast on it......I just wished all the media keys worked in Windows....thats why the G610 looks so appealing rn......

it really depends on oyur situation. if you do a lot of typing, like having to write papers everyday, the go for the keyboard. if you use lots of various programs which have noticable loading times (besides your browser, since those load times dont benefit much from ssds) and dont type too much, then get the ssd.

From what I can grasp, it seems you don't enjoy your current keyboard and your gaming situation right now Isn't so in need of an SSD right now, I'd go with the keyboard

Well....I am a high school student.....the only time where I wish I had an SSD was when I was the editor for a group english video project (I have the most powerful PC in the group I was in and in the class) but even then, it wasn't unbearable. Premier just had to load a few seconds longer xD

Gotta get that HQ 5200rpm drive xD I'll say this, Apple sucks at making a computer that suites my needs, but man their phones are something else (imo)

The keyboard should really be the last thing you upgrade for the most part. I reccomend that you get an SSD if you don't have one already and then save up for a nice keyboard.

If that is the case, then go for a keyboard. I think you said you were looking at one of Logitechs ones with the roamer g switches. If you are primarily typing then I'd try go for cherry mx or topre or somthing
