Massdrop, slacking or just me?

So is it just me, or has Massdrop started slacking recently?

 

Last year when I found out about massdrop I thought they were the shit. But now they seem to be disappointing me more and more. Their drops are no longer that good on price, and the timing is downright abysmal.

 

I bought a pair of Jaybird X2s last week two weeks ago. At first it seemed like a good deal, $114.99 for the headphones. Great.

But no.

 

Subtotal	$114.99
Shipping	$7.75
Tax	$8.59
Total	$131.33

But hey that is still cheaper than other places right?

 

Right now Amazon has the same item for $123.95 with free shipping! I still will have to pay sales tax, but that brings the total to $132.63.

 

So to save just over $1, I have to wait a month for the item? I entered the drop very last minute, and it ended on April 11, but they still have not shipped.

I buy stuff I can't find in stores or at regular online places, so I haven't been disappointed. 

 

But then again, I've heard returns and support is severely lacking, but luckily all my stuff has worked flawlessly.

Not really up to Massdrop, depends what deals they can negotiate with the suppliers, and how many buyers they get

Honestly, 99% of the "deals" on there you can just buy online from amazon for the same price no fucking around with drops
