though 970 has only 4gb of vram and 4k is very vram intensive so a 390 would be better

"4k" isnt vram intensive

its just some games that are vram intensive and 4K certainly doesnt make that better.

and yes, defenately, when you're goin for the VRAM hogs and going SLI/CF defenately go 390 over 970.

that said, in that case i'd defenately go 980Ti either way.

I know that now lol what's your opinion on the topic?

That you should have asked before buying.

But nothing can be done now, i would advice you to cancel your order on that 4K monitor and get a 1440p monitor or a 1440p ultrawide as that is easier to drive.

And many people have said that they prefer gaming on ultrawide 1440p over 4k so consider it.

Also for PSU, EVGA G2 series and Corsair RMx series are good.

Brand new MSI 980 TI Golden Edition, Sorry for not pointing it out in my latest post.

So your brand new card doesn't even outperform my old card that much especially considering the price point of the two my cards are severely overclocked and will go further with the new case with Huge fans in it pointing straight on them plus the two fans on each of the gpus themselves I've got 11 fans in the case total so heat won't be an issue
