Hello everyone, I'm looking to build my first liquid cooling set up and I was wondering if I could get some help. I'm building this to fit in a ThermalTake Core P5 case and I will eventually be using this system to cool as much as I can, but for now I will only be using it for my CPU. I've been looking around and I've gotten all sorts of cool ideas, however I don't know if they will work together. I have experience with radiators it's just the pump/reservoir and CPU block I'm concerned with. So I'm planning on picking up a FrozenQ Limited Edition NovaCore Extreme for my reservoir and a Swiftech MCP655 for a pump. Will those two work together? For my CPU block I was looking at a Apogee XLC, but from what I was reading online, i'm not sure it will fit on my i7-4790k. Also I will be using a 480mm radiator with all four fans, rigid tubing, and colored coolant and I would love recommendations. Any feedback helps, thank you guys.

Yes all those parts will work well together, as for rads Alphacool, EKWB, and Hardware Labs are all good rads. In terms of colored coolant Mayhems makes some of the best with either their opaque pastel line or transparent X-1 series of fluid.

Nah nah nah. Never dye your coolant, it makes it less effective and more likely to corrode tubing and promote bacteria growth. Buy some good Primochill Advanced LRT. Trust me, this stuff will save your life

Dyes doesn't cause corrosion or potnetiall promote growth through that, those fluids are all premixes that are colored and aren't a big issue like they were back in the day.
