So I am finally buying my parts for my build but I want to know a few things before I do since I am just picking parts off pcpart picker based on what little I actually know.

Parts I am buying

Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor

MSI B150 Gaming M3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  Or MSI Computer ATX DDR4 Motherboard B150

G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory

which motherboard would be the best to select as I have a $400 budget and I am a gamer but I don't know how to justify spending 20-30$ more.

Question 2

I am considering getting a Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case

I am a little concerned when getting a case that is mid tower as the old mid tower case I got couldn't fit my 650 ti boost without me tinkering around with some things.

What do you suggest

i suggest you get less RAM and a fancier GPU or CPU :P no need for that much RAM for gaming

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

With that amount of money just for everything without GPU (since you have a 650Ti Boost), you can make a solid upgrade to your platform that will last long. You can upgrade the GPU later.

You can ignore the HDD if you already have one, but since you didn't mention it, I'm just gonna play safe. :)

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Only yours, you don't shitpost on the same level that we can, mainly because this thread is finally dead and should be locked.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

My Budget is $400 + shipping and taxes. As for my goal I want to be able to play the games I have and do my programming. My main question out of all of this is whether my motherboard choices are good ones or which one is better and if there is a better option sticking as close to $100.

Depends, do you need the extra features that board gives you? If not just get a cheaper one.
