How many watts do the Corsair AF120 need?

KearneyMC

Im going to get 4 Corsair AF120 fans and I would like to know how many Volts they need to operate. I plan to run them from a splitter connected to one fan header.

Lets start from basics. Watts (W) and Volts (V) are two different things. Watts aren't what is used with fans. I'm not electrical enough to know what the deeper meanings are. Amperes (A) are what you are interested about. Each fan header will output 1A. Corsair AF120s will take 0.13A each. So while in theory you can run 4 of them from single header, I would recommend getting SATA powered splitter instead.
