Dualshock 4 compatible with HTC Vive?

Can i control myself in VR with the Dualshock 4 if i don't want to use the touch controllers for some reason?

If the games don't support DInput (something every game should support these days) which is the input method of the Dualshock 4, you can use something like DS4Windows to get Windows to treat it as an XInput device.

Thanks for the answer. Yea i have DS4Windows installed so i should be good to go?

Yeah, you should be good. If not, you can pick up an Xbox 360 wired pad for fairly cheap.

Also look at InputMapper. I personally like it more than DS4Windows. 

 

So, if the game supports DInput, the controller will work naively- if it only has XInput, then you'll need to use one of the afformentioned programs. 

I used to be quite active here.
