Newly built PC keeps freezing up

Hi guys, title pretty much explains it all, but my pc keeps freezing. It will freeze and ignore all inputs then I have to hold power button to restart.

Are the parts used? It could be a motherboard/ram issue, a bad overclock, bad software install, bad drivers, or any number of things. Is there anything you can do to narrow this down?

check the CPU temp in the BIOS and report back......could be a bad cooler/TIM application.....have you installed windows yet....

we need more info other than your specs!

any one of you parts could be the problem

start with a BIOS reset, 1 stick of ram and a onbord video if you have it. Also if you have old parts that you know work try swapping things out for things know to be in GOOD working order.
