Hello, I have recently decided to build a new rig for gaming and producing video content. I am limited to a 1000 pound budget and I was hoping that I could get some help in picking the best parts for a system that would last 3-4 years without needing a significant upgrade such as a GPU or a CPU . I am opened to suggestions. Also, since I'd like to buy a freesync monitor (cuz they are cheaper and pretty much do the same thing with amd as g-sync monitors towards nvidia) I'd like to stick with an amd GPU. I've researched and found out that a r9 390 is a sweetspot for gaming and rendering nowadays, so I'd be very thankful if anyone, who is willing to help me , will note that. Thanks in advance!

Wow, This seems delicious! No, the 1000 pounds are not for the pc and a monitor. And I currently have peripherals :D

Just a heads up, XFX's XT series are their one bad line of PSUs.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I just have one question since I am kinda new at this: Would it be wise if I went with a 6700k and a cooler master hyper 212 evo ?

I couldn't find the 212 evo on the UK pcpartpicker, as for the 6700k, if you plan on doing video production, the 5820k will do better than the 6700k in that regard, while still giving you a just as sufficient gaming experience.

Oh, I see! But is the 5820k - skylake ? I mean I thought that only skylake boards with a 1151 socket use DDR4 :|. And the motherboard has written LGA2011-3 so is that a problem ?

No, DDR4 was first on LGA2011-3. Intel just put it on it's skylake line.

Oh, I get it now! Thanks once again! I will probablly try to find out a bit more about CPUs and Motherboards since I really want to be able to do builds intended for exactly what I'd like them to be intended for... (Mother tongue - Bulgarian, hopefully no one judges my writing skills xD )
