Shipping PC?

I'll be moving soon to a new location and will be shipping most of my items.

I'm not quite sure how to ship my computer though; what i mean is if i should buy certain services or what to use specifically cushion as well as tips like pulling out my GPU before shipping so it won't break.

Help a brotha out, yeah?

 

Do i also have to pull out my air cooler?

It's an NH-C14s.

It's an NH-C14s.

It's best to remove large air coolers and things like GPU's and have them separate. For packing I would recommend to double box it with the original case box and with foam blocks in a larger box around that if your going to get it shipped via a postal service.

also, in a anti-static bag that the product came with preferably

card -> into anti-static bag -> original box -> optional: larger box with foam

When i moved, i took out my HDD and laid the computer flat in the box as opposed to upright.

Did you take out your GPU?

Did you have an aftermarket cooler and did you take that out?
