routing ps3 audio to pc?

Go to solution Solved by MrIceCremeLollipop,

plug the hdmi into the tv, then a 3.5mm cable from the headphone jack on the tv/monitor into the input on your motherboard. Now I don't know which one that is but someone will say?

This MIGHT work

:D

Hi!

i recently started playing demon's souls and i would like to redirect the audio from the ps3 to my pc.

i have the onboard asus z87-a soundcard.

im currently having my ps3 connected to my monitor that have a built in speaker(Asus VG24QE) using HDMI

my plan is to connect my monitor's output to my soundcard's input.

Thou i don't know which connector to plug it into and i also don't know how to configure this, i made a image to demonstrate.

i have a 3.5 dual male cord.

Thanks in advance

Plug it into ur motherboards pink microfon jacket. Then go into your sound settings onto the tab microphones and choose the option to put the microphone through to ur speakers.

Bad explanation, i know. Im on my laptop at the moment. If you need to, i can make you a screenshot of what im talking about.

Budget Rig "Curable":     | FX 6300 @4.5Ghz | Asus R9 270x | Asus Crosshair IV Extreme | 16GB HyperX Beast | 120GB PNY SSD
