Question about switching parts

You can see my current Computer components in the Picture + a 600 W  Powersuplly by Sharkoon.

 

I now want to switch the mainboard with an "MSI 7693-040R 970 Gaming AM3+ AMD 2x (PCIe 2.0 x16) " and add an MSI V314-011R AMD Radeon R9 380

but keep my old Gpu as a second card.

Know my Question: will it work? and when not why ?

The mobo will be compatible,  as will the graphics card... However you cannot sli those cards, they will be able to run independently of one another. Although I don't see that helping you much. Just sell the old one

Also consider getting a new powersupply. Reliability is a big concern
