Windows 10

to start of I was gonna submit my topic then "error we do not have access to your account" appeared omayG then boom it erased all the things that i wrote

*sigh I already wrote a lot there.. so lets begin again ( I could not back it :( ) please bear with me because im so tired of typing

so first of all is im planing to buy a new gaming pc

my budget is very low for a full rig with an os (btw my budget is $500)

So what im asking here is can i have windows 10 as my first os for my pc ?

I would not like to buy an windows 7 or 8.1 os because it would be very expensive for me and I would be out of buget (btw i have an windows 7 here at home but its only 32 bit and 32 bit sucks because it can only handle like 3.5 gb ram.. could i upgrade it in to 64 bit then to windows 10??

since windows 10 is now free ?? is it possible to do it by not upgrading?? or putting it as an first os??

if you guys are curious in what im going to buy i will be buying..

i3-6100 (stock heatsink)

Asrock z170m Pro4s

8GB Gskill Ram (2 sticks)

WD Blue HDD 1TB

EVGA 600B PSU

MSI GTX 950

(i will only be playing dota and csgo) btw guys do i really need 600 PSU?

tnx a lot guys and i would appreciate it if you reply

sorry if bad english..

yes, thats what i did to my desktop

win 7 32-bit to win 10 64-bit

you can do a clean install of windows 10 64-bit and enter the product key (please do not show it to any one)

and it should work just fine, if it prompts you to enter again after it finishes setup (it does sometimes) enter it again and you'll be golden

decent build,

could probably get away with 500B but i recommend more reliable psu nonetheless

also, dont need z170 board, can get cheaper board since the i3 cant be overclocked

Since the only games you play are CS:GO and Dota the cheapest option might be to install Ubuntu Linux. Linux is not for everybody but at that budget it seems to make sense. You can use Ubuntu for a while and if you don't like it save up and buy Windows. I currently use Fedora Linux to play Steam games but I have used Ubuntu Linux in the past and it works great! I am suggesting Ubuntu because it is a little easier than Fedora to work with.

yea but its against CoC to offer assistance in piracy, so there's that

either you buy windows key or you're on your own

Thank you very much for answering sir moonzy

So first thing that I should do is Put my windows 7 32 bit os in my new gaming pc i have an old optical drive btw.. So is that correct? I read your suggested motherboard and it says win 8.1 and win 10 compatible, will it be compatible with win 7 too? I didnt see any win 7 there o_o

Btw sir moonzy are you saying that i only need a product key to upgrade to win 8.1/10 64 bit? I saw my product key and I think its already been used in my old gaming pc (i think...) can i reuse it? Btw your recommended motherboard was pretty awesome I actually liked it and its much cheaper.. Thank you very much

it should be, but i cant give you the clear answer

1 minute ago, Gaming_Ron said:

you should be able to as long as the other computer isnt powered on at all, using two device with the same product key at the same time will cause microsoft to blacklist that product key, making it invalid

also, if you're already installing windows 7, you can just upgrade without re-installing windows

though i wouldnt recommend it since the old windows 7 will take up a huge chunk of your hdd space
