First off get 32GB of RAM if you are that hard core. If that isn't enough then get another 32GB kit. I'm pretty sure you don't need a 5TB SSD capacity. I would get 2 2TB drives and an SSD. I'm not sure whether CAD runs better on Nvidia or AMD.

Get 2 Titans instead (6GB for 4K), go for the EVGA X79 board and make a custom loop. Also you might go for more swaggy RAM, like Vengeance Pro or Dominator Platinum. What do you think about Caselabs Magnum STH10? 900D is a gnome compared to it.

I wonder where he got all the money for this...

I also wouldn't recommend running crossfire with AMD cards due to frame pacing issues, even with the driver fix nvidia SLI will offer a better/smoother experience whilst playing games.

This is quad CF. Anything triple CF and beyond removes visual micro stuttering.

Haha.. "whilst"

Still it won't serve him well...only 3GB VRAM.

Well yeah--there's nothing powerful enough out short of a Nvidia GRID yet that would let me recommend 4K gaming to anyone.

Since Senior Moneybags already has his monitor, Titans would be his only hope, "only"6GB but that's the best today. I'd say 8GB is recommended. Or he can get 2 780s (or 2 R9-290Xes) and buy a 1440p monitor for games.
