Beginner Builder here I need HELP!

Hey guys, I'm a new to building PC's and I need help

I live in New Zealand and I want a PC that can do light video/photo editing and that can play new AAA games and undemanding games at 1080p High settings

My budget is around $1500NZD or around $1000USD not including peripherals and the OS but recommendation for a keyboard and monitor would be much appreciated.

I don't want to buy anything from Amazon because the shipping cost way to much and will bite into my budget

I already want a Nvidia GTX 970 because it give me access to Shadowplay which is a nifty screen recorder

The 970 is around $579NZD

Also I picked a case which is the NZXT S340 which is $150NZD

Recommendations for parts will be much appreciated

Only problem is the GPU and PSU aren't included in the price. On the New Zealand PartPicker

You can't really fit them, I tried my best you need to drop down to a r9 380 (The 960 is kinda hard to recommend with a good CPU).
