Everything looks good except that power supply. Last I checked, the CX series was not made for gaming and might catch fire under a full load

Get an EVGA power supply that is 80+ Gold rated, something from the P2, GS, G2, etc. series. That power supply isn't that good I don't believe.

MSI GE72 Apache Pro-242 - (5700HQ : 970M : 16gb RAM : 17.3" : Win10 : 1TB HDD : Razer Anansi : Some mouse) - hooked up to a 34UM58-P (WFHD) in dual screen

iPad Air 2 (for school)

iPhone 6

Xbox One Forza 6 Limited Edition Blue

Quality isn't everything. An EVGA B2 is leagues ahead an EVGA G1 :P

Change psu from anything from seasonic, most of xfx, or a G2,GQ,GS, or P2 from EVGA. 380>960.

i would balance the cpu and gpu horse power a bit more unless you will upgrade with polaris/pascal anyway. IMO I'd go wit b150, i5 6400, R9 390 and a better PSU

drop the 6600k and get a better gpu for the money you saved. Your CPU is way more capable than your gpu in your config atm, but most titels depend more on the gpu than the cpu. So i'd get a i5 6400, a b150 Board, an r9 390 as GPU and a better PSU

Well, I'm just saying it's better to get a higher rated power supply in terms of 80+, previous reviews, and tier lists. Usually the tier lists are relatively accurate, and a better power supply just ensures better system stability in the future.

You could use that Power supply, but like in a 450D you can get a regular size one that isn't SFX-L but it's not a BAD power supply

not much because turbo boost up to 3.3 GHz and it will not slow down a 960. If you really like to have more mhz get for a few dollars more a 6500. But IMHO a 6600k and a 960 is not worth the money.

I'd go with sth. like this: (you could get an atx mobo too... or get an matx case) and Windows from reddit/kinguin

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($194.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus B150M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($79.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory  ($64.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($84.88 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($48.77 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 8GB Nitro Video Card  ($322.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Corsair 450D ATX Mid Tower Case  ($108.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($70.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $976.59

They are fine. I wanted to quote DanielK033730112 but it won't let me. But I had a cx750m with an i7 4790K 32Gb DDR3 2 way SLI GTX 970 and it did DECENT. Not great but if you're on a budget it is fine. I did have problems with mine. It would randomly shut off at times when it got hot in my room but other than that it ran fine. I did end up buying a better one though.
