System specs:
CPU: Intel i5-3570k 3.4GHz
Cooling: Corsair H80i
Motherboard: MSI z77a-g43
GPU: Sapphire HD7850 1GB

PSU: OCZ 550W ZS series
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb  CL9/DDR3/1600MHz
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500gb 7200rpm
Case: NZXT Source 210

I am changing from my current GPU.
I am trying to decide between
A GTX 760 - GTX 670 and HD 7950

If I am getting a GTX 760 - I will get the MSI GeForce GTX 760 Hawk

If I should choose either the GTX 670 or the HD7950 - which one should I choose? I want a SILENT GPU that could be OCd (or is OCd)

7950 for sure. Get Asus DCU II or MSI TF III, they are very silent and great OCers, but if you consider the 670, you could also get a 7970 for almost the same price.

Wait 4 days for new Radeons and then wait for benchmarks, they'll show up in stores in like 2 weeks.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

for the new cards from AMD, they will be announced in 4 days.

Prices of the 7xxx series will probably drop again.

i'd vote for the 7950 too :)

as you probably already know, the 670 and 760 are very similar (but have significant differences) so if you decided to change your mind and get a nvidia card, get the 760.

if you can wait, wait a few days/weeks for 9xxx series from AMD; prices of nvidia will drop and AMD might have a better option :)

hope this helps :)

The 670 is cheaper than the 7970 here in sweden, and my budget is about 2500sek for a GPU

HD7950 will be the best for you then, but I advise you to wait for a while to see if the 7970 prices drop further, you can get it for 2700SEK now.

He is the hero this forum deserves but not the one it needs right now.So we'll hunt him because he can take it because he is not our hero he is a silent guardian

Sounds good, I really hope the 7970 goes down in price, so I can afford buying an SSD as well

I would get these coolers for your 7950: MSI Twin Frozr 3/ HIS IceQ X2/ Sapphire Dual-X. I would personally wait for the next gen gpus from AMD since it is coming out in October.
