Just bought a 960GB SSD, opinions

2FA

So I just bought the 960GB version of the Corsafir Force LE series. Currently I have 240GB 840 EVO as my OS drive and a 1TB WD Blue for mass storage. Any way I go about this, I'm taking the HDD out so keep that in mind. Should I keep the EVO as my OS drive and use the Corsair for mass storage or should I clone my EVO to the Corsair. I kind of don't want to deal with any headaches that would result from cloning and I like having the larger second drive.

Use your Corsair as mass storage why not?

It's what I was planning on doing but I wanted to hear what other people do.

If you plan on swapping out the HDD, I call DIBS on it.

250D case and I was planning on adding a custom loop so it help with managing cables as I will be able to hide some in that part of the drive cage. I meant take it out of the case btw, not sell it or destroy it.

If the system works fine, why risk or spend the time needed to clone drives? Well, maybe if the new one was significantly higher performance (I haven't checked), but personally I wouldn't bother.

So I realized that the LE series is based off of TLC NAND so I canceled my order just in time and decided to order a 1TB 850 EVO for $50 more dollars. The performance difference is definitely worth it.
