Hi guys, I would like to have your awesome wisdom and advice on what laptops I should get for my school. I don't intend to use it for gaming at all. I am studying biomedical engineering and I heard that I will have to study some things via my laptop. I want to buy my laptop in my school's laptop fair and the price list of the laptops are in these websites. I am planning to get the ASUS UX303 G6P/ ASUS UX305 G6P/ LENOVO YOGA 700.  The ASUS UX303 interests me because it has QHD rather than FHD and it has touch screen, but it is $70 more expensive  and 0.150kg heavier than the ASUS UX305. The Lenovo Yoga 700 catches my eye because it can be turned into a tablet, but it has a lower battery life, thicker by around 3mm and heavier by around 0.2 and 0.3kg than the ASUS UX303 and ASUS UX305.
Sooo, which laptop should I get?? xDo.O Thanks in advance!

What are you using them for? would you also be using them for recreation like gaming too?

Also 4k on a small laptop is a no go for me, in programs that dont scale well you wont be able to read anything, id stick with 1080p

Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb,  4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii

I would suspect the UX305 would have better battery life as it's only a FHD screen.

If it's just a study laptop where performance shouldn't matter that much, aslong as it has a decently new i5 (or even a i3), has a SSD for both the speeds and you will be travelling with it so prepare it for tha bumps, has a good keyboard and probably the most important thing for a study laptop (or in my opinion) is battery life...

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I would probably use the laptop to listen to music via eapiece, but I will not play games on my laptop. Thanks about the 4k advice. However, is the QHD 3200x1800 suitable for a 13.3" laptop?

Thanks for your advice! The LENOVO YOGA 700 laptop really interests me but the battery life is claimed to be 7hrs, but I think it will be only 5hrs and my classes will last around 9hrs per day :/

I have a Yoga 900 with 3200x1800 screen. It's a nice screen, but unless you watch 4k YouTube videos all day, it's better to go with a more sensible solution that won't eat up batteries as quickly.

You might want to look at the ThinkPad X260 if you want all day (and in some cases two day) battery life.
