Hello I have windows 10 a Quantum Byte mine PC and a Acer 27 inch monitor. It is constantly showing black bars on the side of the screen. i can get the monitor to stretch the picture but it looks bad is is particularly bad wen watching movies or youtube. If anyone has help it is greatly appreciated. Thanks

What video output are you using?

What resolution is the display? And what resolution are you trying to set it to? Are graphics drivers installed?

They stated that they can stretch the picture, so pixels aren't dead. I would find it hard to believe that there would be that many dead pixels on a panel anyways.

Happend to me once i opened it up and there was a crack on the digitizer that wasn't visible from the top most layer of the monitor
