Someone is offering me a 840 Evo 500GB for $70. It is a used drive. He ran tests on it in Samsung magician software for me and it looks like a healthy drive. The health of it is at "good" status, and the total data written to it is 6 TBs. Should I buy it from him? I'm looking to replace my WD blue with it so I can put the blue in the family computer, as its 1 TB HDD is almost full. My mom literally needs her own drive for pictures lol. Thanks for any opinions of what I should do.

Tell me, where do I get a 500 GB 850 Evo for $50? Please i really want to know lol.

I bet you meant buy a 120gb 850 evo, but I won't be doing that. I already have a 250gb 850 Evo. I also have the 1TB WD Blue drive, but seeing as the family computer needs a new drive and I would love to place another SSD in my computer. Minimum size needs to be 500GB.

You said save another $20....

but whatever it is jsut a typo and misunderstanding. If the 840 was only 250gb id be asking for a much lower price, and  if I couldn't get it id buy a new 850.  But since it is 500gb, it is a steal for $70(actually got price down to $60!)
