Darks Souls 3 - Please help?

Ok so I just bought this game, and holy f**k if it doesn't only display the Xbox controller scheme instead of Mouse/Keyboard. I can't even learn how to play because everything is in another language. Does ANYONE know how to fix this. I could not find it in the settings, and tried posting this on the steam community discussions with no luck!
