How to setup RAID?

I've recently filled up my WD cavalier black 2tb so i figured i would buy another to RAID them together. Downloaded the latest intel RAID driver from my mobo website, installed it. Plugged other hard drive in and formatted it in AHCI mode, computer recognised all my hard drives. Change to raid mode, Ctrl + I, choose both of my WDC black 2tb's and make a 4tb RAID. Restart and windows doesn't recognise my RAID and my 1TB storage drive.

 

I have a 64 GB SSD With windows 7 professional 64 bit on it (plugged into the Asmedia 6gb/s

1tb storage drive plugged into the intel 3gb/s

DVD Drive plugged into the intel 3gb/s

2 x 2TB WDC black 2 tb plugged into the intel 6gb/s

 

And all of this is on an Asus Rampage 4 extreme with latest update for the intel chipset and Asmedia. 

 

BIOS version 2105

 

 

Any help in solving this issue is greatly appreciated as this is my first time setting up RAID and i have been at it for hours with no luck

Thanks for the link; I've setup RAID the same way that Linus has in that video, the problem is getting my computer to detect the RAID volume
