I already have a GTX 480 that I'm giving to my brother and I have $50 to either spend on a new power supply for him (He has a pre built system) or to get an entirely new graphics card instead.

What do you mean by that. Do you mean I should get another 480? If I want to give him the 480, I have to get him a new PSU too.

I don't think you are going to find much...if you got a really good deal on a 750 Ti that's probably the cheapest/most powerful card you can buy that doesn't require external power. Maybe you could buy molex to pcie power adpaters and get something like a 260x used? A 350W power supply should be able to handle that...any lower than 350W and I don't know.

Main PC: i5 4590 @ 3.5 GHz ♦ RX 480 Armor OC ♦ 16 GB DDR3 ♦ GA-Z97-HD3 ♦ 120 GB 840 EVO ♦ 120 GB Intel 520 ♦ W10 Home

Scrapyard PC: Xeon X5460 @ 3.8 GHz ♦ HD 7870 ♦ 8 GB DDR2 ♦ GA-P35-DS3L ♦ 80 GB Intel 320 ♦ 160 GB WD Caviar SE ♦ W10 Home
