So first off this is the first computer i have built. I did reuse some old part of my computer just to save some money. Now the problem, It first started wile playing WOW, every once in a wile (could be a couple seconds or min to hr's) my screen would just lock up. If i gave it a couple min it would resume like nothing was the problem. I also just downloaded WildStar and its doing the same thing. With WOW i deleted the game cash and WTF files and it "Seemed" to fix it but im not 100% sure. I also tried to download Path of Exile the other day and it would freeze on the loading screen...I have never had this issue before i rebuild my computer. Its kinda making me mad because its my first build and its not working correctly lol.

welcome to the forums! :P

remember to quote or mention the person you're replying so they will get a notification

as for your issue, is anything overheating?

did you try reinstalling gpu drivers? i recommend uninstalling using DDU and installing 361.xx or 362.xx drivers for nvidia

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

as far as i can tell nothing is over heating. and i just said screw it and wiped the computer and now in the process of reinstalling everything and making sure all up to date.

I will let yall know if its acting up still after every thing is done downloading. But as for now the computer seems to be happier. last time trying to update the driver it blue screened ever time during the actual install. this time went through perfectly so thats a bonus lol

Display Driver Uninstaller, just search DDU and it should pop out as the top result `-`

and install the older ones, the 364.xx drivers are pretty unstable
