NZXT S340 Case Fans

ppppppp

The layout of the S340 goes like this: 1top(120/140mm), 1back(120mm/140mm) , 2 front fans(120mm/140mm). It comes with 2 120mm fans at the back and top.

1.What should i fill my front 2 slots with, 2x140mm, 2x120mm or maybe 1x140mm?

2.Can anyone recommend any nice looking, inexpensive, preferably red(Non LED) case fans? Also Black is Ok.

3. I want extra case fans but are they completely necessary? If they say cost £20 all together i could use that and get a MSI 380 or a XFX 380x.

I have been using the stock fans for quite some time now. If you're putting your pc on your desk I strongly recommend to either get a fan controller or new fans, because the fans are very loud at full speed. They do perform well, though.

The stock fans will work, but I find the S340 has excellent airflow if you put 2 140mm fans in the front and use the stock fans as exhaust.

Since you are at a tight budget, I suggest just using the stock case fans as per results from the videos (especially the first one) above and getting the 380X or higher if possible.
