Hi

I work for a property management company that is located on a busy road. For a little while now we have been scheming, trying to devise a plan to capture some of the passing drivers attentions as they stop right outside the building. Along with other methods of building brand awareness we are wanting to share a little more information of the vacant offices available within the building and so came to the idea that maybe a digital window display would be a good way to go.

Now the first thing I did was go to a place like Amazon or eBuyer to find a reasonably priced monitor that we could mount but soon thought that desktop monitors probably aren't designed to be on 24/7? Do I need to be weary of monitors overheating or displays burning out? I haven't really done anything like this before and wondered whether anyone could give me some guidance? The budget I have to work with is relatively small, I think I have about £400 I can spend but that also has to include a PC to power the content on the display. The PC I am thinking of using for this display is the Intel Compute Stick.

If someone could just give me a little bit of guidance, I would really appreciate it. Maybe suggest some monitors that would actually work for the job as well. Small bezels, relatively accurate colours and good viewing angles are really my only requirements.

Thank in advance. Matt
