I am thinking of constructing a computer case from the 2 pictures below,

I was just wondering what you guys prefer and whether or not the "Jet Engine" Computer case could be built

The jet engine one I would assume to be quite difficult to put components in...

Yeah, that is what i am thinking, The Recorder would be easier to pull off. The Jet Engine also seems like a awesome idea if all the parts could fit.

round cases are either very cramped for your hardware (limited cooling) or WAAAAAAAAAY too big for what you can fit inside.

(that is ignoring custom hardware)

 

and the voice recorder isnt as creative as you think, they're a very similar formfactor to rackmount cases, just a smaller rack.

id go with with second one and mod tower coolers onto everything
