950 Pro + Z170 Deluxe

Guest

Hi,

Hope someone can help. I am looking at getting a Z170 Deluxe Mobo with an i7 6700k; and want to use a 950 pro as my boot drive. Do i need to configure anything specific in the BIOS to enable this, other than turning off the CSM? Is there an 'NVME' option i need to select in the Mobo UEFI?

Cheers,

Cheers,

I know PCIE is a bitch to deal with Booting(what ive heard), but an M.2 slot, even though it is pcie based mostly works,

You just change the boot drive, thats it.

Also M.2 is FANTASTIC if you run a RAID 0 on it. the drives is the redundancy here!

well i would search for a guide, because m.2 is kinda not in the sata interface so it wont show up there, but if it does, just select it.
