working on a very stable overclock

I need to know if a 4.7 GHz overclock on 1.42v is safe, volatile, and if it is volatile, How volatile is it.  I know it seems over the safe limit, but I'm getting 60 to 75 degrees on aida64 which is 100% load.

I really just need it for 3 and a half years.  If anyone can really convince me to bring it down to 4.6 GHz.  I'll listen

Thanks, Scotti

I think it should be fine at those voltages especially considering you said you only need it for 3 and a half years.

the actual ghz isn't the concern, make that as high as it can go, voltage is the one you need to be careful about. Also keep in mind that even if temps are fine voltage will still damage it.

the reason I said I'd lower my 4.7 to 4.6 is my 4.6ghz has a 1.36v vs the 1.42v on the 4.7ghz

1.42 is high for my liking especially with that cooling solution, but if it runs cool enough, it should be okay.
