I'm going to make a custom watercooling loop and I was wondering if someone could recomend some good parts for like 300 bucks (cpu block, pump, radiator etc). Because I'm pretty new to it so I would like to get some recommendations. For now I am only going to cool the CPU (3770k) but in the near future I think I might expand to the GPU also.

Go have a look at the stickied thread on the watercooling section. There is a great set up for under $300

I am good at computer

Spoiler

Choosing custom water cooling components is very subjective. Color scheme, aesthetics, design and the like.

This may give you some of a idea:

1. Pump = Swiftech MCP655......Or some kind of pump Res. Combo ~ XSPC X20 DC-750 V4 Acrylic

2. Reservoir = If don't go with combo. Subjective. What will fit in your case?

3. Tubing = PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Retail (pick a color)

4. Coolant = PrimoChill Pure Performance Coolant ~ Clear

5. CPU Block = Koolance CPU-380i(For Intel)......CPU-380A(for AMD)

6. GPU Block = Not sure if you are planning on this or not.

7. Radiator = Not sure what case you have for sizes

8. Fans for Radiator = Noctua

9. Fittings = Again subjective. Just make sure that fitting sizes match up

                   with tubing size you choose.

Is this what you are looking for? If so, this will give you a start. If not, then, at least I tried.

if your gonna upgrade your gpu soon just make sure you buy a big enough radiator to handle the future gpu block, a 360mm rad or larger. xspc sells kits that are expandable.

For now I think only buy a 240, but when I upgrade my gpu I will probably buy new chassi and another radiator.

Thanks it's a good start, so you recomend getting coloured tubes and clear coolant?

I actually think that clear tubes and coloured coolant works better. As always with looks, it is subjective. Things like UV reactant things work better with coloured coolant as there is more mass

Yeah I agree with the look is better with clear tubing and coloured coolant. But some says it's better perfomance or something with with clear coolant. Don't know if it's true though cause I'm kind of new to this.

Absolutely.............The dye in coolant is only for looks(aesthetics), it does nothing for performance.

And in the long term, create more issues then help.
