I also used to own a Logitech G110; would recommend that you spend $10 ~ $20 more, and get a mechanical keyboard.

If you don't mind cherry MX clones, you also have keyboards from Noppoo or Royal Kludge for 10-30$ more. And those 10-30 bucks more go a long way, so if you can't get the extra just get the cheapest 5$ logitech one and save until you can get the mechanical one, it is totally worth it.

mechanical is soooo overrated. Typing isn't going to all of a sudden become enjoyable for you. It probably isn't going to make you type faster in or out of games and if you don't try out each different type of cherry switch, its very easily could be that membrane is more enjoyable than that mechanical switch for you, mechanical switches also tend to be either gaming oriented or typing oriented and suck at the other or mediocre at both. What else is medicore at both? membrane.  If you're on a budget, the keyboard is one of the first places i would choose to be budget oriented. Keyboards are a massive marketing gimmick. A bunch of RGB lighting and mechanical switches. Before you buy any keyboard though, make sure your parents don't have an old buckling spring that they aren't using. One of the most desirable mechanical switches around.
