Help with Internet?

So, I just built my new computer and the internet is not working when it is plugged in.

this is what I know:

 

The computer is running Windows 10

the Ethernet cable is not faulty

An orange light is blinking at the lan port

The router works

The Internet works when connected with a wifi card

any help?
