I just built a new computer and I am looking for a cpu cooler for my AMD FX-8350 8-core. I may overclock it but i want a good cooler.

well for such an hot chip and if you plan to overclock its better water even if I prefer air coolers

I dont know the pricing in the us but I think it would be better to get a mid range 240mm AIO water coller

IMO, you're not going to get much of an overclock on an 8350 with any sub-$40 cooler. I'd just go with the stock cooler, no overclock, until you can afford either a high-end air cooler or a decent 240mm AIO. A 212 EVO can't keep up with the heat that CPU would generate at higher overclocks.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
