Depends if the client is using it. Live Mesh is a service that syncs data between multiple devices.

Though I highly doubt all those installations are needed, one can be left in there.

Windows Live Mesh came bundled with old versions of Windows Live Essentials and is no longer supported.

And an old version of WLE was apparently installed.

The ActiveX is not essential.

However do not uninstall WLE 2011 as the owner might still be using it.

 

Reinstalling an updated version will require the owner to log in again

Might also potentially lose settings and logs that could be important

 

Just tell him WLE is outdated and recommend to get a newer version
