Right so im in the market for a budget gpu upgrade because a month or two ago my gtx 660ti died and it wouldn't not produce any video after trying it in other systems i declared it dead so i went out and bought a shitty £40 gpu the gt 630 ive had it for 3 weeks and i cant stand it any more and need an upgrade that is going to be good with out breaking the wallet and making it sad ive had a look at the r7 370 and the gtx 750ti as they appealed at the right price point to me but i don't now which card performs better or if there are others out there so any suggestions would help

The other option is to go 2nd hand and get a more powerful card for the same money.

750ti can still game tho.

a local computer shop was selling a hd 7870 for £60 is it worth it though?

its totaly fine for 1080p low-medium tbh, its pretty good and if you get the right one it can overclock pretty well :D well i think the 370 is the better pick here anyway but whats the budget? also a tip is to look for used stuff, there was a 290 for sale were i live for less then the price of a 750TI a while back for example :) 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

That's about the right price for one, though I don;t think it's as powerful as your old 660ti
