Do we consider “Ubuntu on Windows 10” the same as an official Ubuntu flavour? Do we support it? To what extent?

My opinion is that, fucking windows they are gonna make Ubuntu look like shit

And yes, I am a week late to this xp but yeah...

 

As many will have heard of (probably not), Microsoft will distribute a stock Ubuntu installation to be run on Windows 10. Source

Why I posted this here? when it was already posted on another help forum? for those who didn't know about it :P

TL;DR

Uh Windows are making Ubuntu like Wbuntu but inside of windows 10 if that makes sense

"Right, so just Ubuntu running in a virtual machine?"  Nope!  This isn't a virtual machine at all.  There's no Linux kernel booting in a VM under a hypervisor.  It's just the Ubuntu user space.

"Ah, okay, so this is Ubuntu in a container then?"  Nope!  This isn't a container either.  It's native Ubuntu binaries running directly in Windows.

"Hum, well it's like cygwin perhaps?"  Nope!  Cygwin includes open source utilities are recompiled from source to run natively in Windows.
