PC or Laptop?

Hello Everyone i am a new user like started using this forum just just just now.
I know many must have asked this question but this time it is from India.
I am using my current PC since 2009 with nvidia geforce 300 series GPU and 4GB RAM.
I don't know whether to buy a PC or a Laptop?
My budget is low like really low, approx $750=Rs49920.
Do you guys think i will get to a good pc or laptop?
( Can Linus gift me one ? :P I know this is not possible. )

And can you help me build one? Coz this new i will be using for the next 4 5 years .
Also i play games like assassin's creed so it should run all ubisofts latest games :D

Definitely a PC. You're not going to be getting a good laptop for that much money.

A PC. unless you have some other reason of why you cant get a PC. Laptop wise i would say a Dell 7559 would be the best for the money.

One of the few reasons to consider a Laptop is if you really need the mobility. If you have a place to live and won't be moving every few months, or your job/school doesn't require you to have one, I see no reason to buy a laptop.

Not if you're looking for a gaming solution.

Building your own pc will get you much better performance for you dollar. It will also be relevant and last much longer than a Laptop.

Hey and welcome to the forum!

You posted in the wrong subforum. @Windspeed36 Could you move this? :)

regarding your question it really comes down to what you want to use the pc/laptop for.

System:
CPU: I7-3610QM @ 2.3 GHz | Motherboard: something with chips | RAM: 8 Gb of something | GPU: AMD HD 7600M | Case: Something made out of plastic | Storage: Toshiba MQ01ABD075 750GB | PSU: something external | Display(s): something glowing | Cooling: jet engine | Keyboard: hama something | Mouse: Logitech something | Sound: Traktor Kontrol S2 as soundcard, AKG K500 Headphones | Operating System: Windoof 10

Really depends. I live in a country where power outages are a daily occurrence and shipping things in mail isn't gonna guarantee there won't be damage.

I end up going to the US once a year so the laptop in my case is move convenient because of where I live.

Now since your budget is $750 your better taking the desktop route as all laptops with a 960m minimum are 1$k+ usually.
