A10 vs I7(older)

Go to solution Solved by don_svetlio,

The A10 is the overall better option - the i7 is a dual-core with HT whereas the A10 is a quad-core - it's also much newer, more efficient and performs the same or better. Also, 8GB of RAM vs 4GB

So I'm looking into getting an HP elitebook since my older toshiba laptop is dying on me, and by that pc is great but the screen is coming off and screws are coming out :|

So the two hp elite books are with the following cpu's:
Intel Core i7 2620M  vs AMD A10 Pro 7350B

Which one is better?

I did look at cpuboss but I don't really trust that site that much at all so that's why I'm asking here.

also here are the specs both new

the i7 version:

768p

4gigs ram

320-500hdd or 128 ssd

windows 7

also $150-$230

the A10

900p

8gb ram

500gb hdd

windows 7

$500

Edit: just need a laptop for school no gaming at all

  1. Never use CPUboss
  2. I'd choose the i7

yea cpu/gpu boss I hate going on those sites since I've seen them being really biased before but that's the only place I found with any comparison :|
