I don't think it will be easy to hack anytime soon, assuming the fingerprint is stored encrypted directly on the SOC as they advertise.

I don't think that's what they are talking about. I think they by "hacked" means bypass it. So for example a copy of someone's fingerprint made out of something like ballistics gel might bypass it.

Read the link, it talks about being able to lift prints and then replicate them to bypass the security.

I think it can be done through the stylus things that you can use for phones, press a print down with that and the stylus replicates a finger. I don't know why you would bother. You can go into Facebook and emails without even having to do all that
