So I'm planning on building a Skylake system this summer, and for core components I plan on these:

-ASUS Z170-A

-i7 6700k

-64GB of DDR4 memory

But the issue is that I will be moving to Korea ( I'm a South Korean living in the United Arab Emirates ) and RAM is a whole lot more expensive than in the US except for one instance.

The Samsung RAM modules are sold as one stick each, and I can get them in capacities of 4, 8, and 16gb per stick. Since they are relatively inexpensive compared to RAM from other manufacturers in Korea

I plan on buying 4 16gb 2133MHz modules to have a total of 64gb as Skylake processors can now support this. My question is that will these be compatible? They are from the same maker, bought at the same time, with same timings and everything, just not bought as a package of 4. I'm sure there isn't an issue right?

The image attached is an example of the Samsung memory available widely in Korea. They're ugly, but they sure get the job done reliably.

They should be, but then again...

The fact that you're buying them all at once does give you the best chance of getting compatible sticks but there still are no guarantees. You can aid the process along by cherry-picking sticks with the serial numbers as close to each other as possibly. Hopefully a continuous series even.

Nothing about theory of how RAM and CPUs should work renders single sticks incompatible. They all should be compatible. It's more about the silicon lottery and differences between individual units. One stick might work fine with 1.20V. One might need 1.25V and one might not be able to handle anything above 1.95V and so on. What's a dude gonna do?! The sickening thing is, Samsung sticks might not be compatible in the first place. Have you seen either Asus or Samsung claim them to be?

Unless your mobo is extra picky I wouldn't worry as long as its all the same speed, frequency, timings etc etc
