memory huge problem!

hi.

 

I got 16gb of ram. 

 

My pc was fine for freaking months until just now. The memory usage went to a constant 100% usage even when idle and after restarting the pc.

 

I can feel the actual effect of running out of memory because my ultrabook has 1gb ram and it frequently runs out of memory.

 

The thing is that I don't have anything running yet the usage is constantly 100%. How to fix it? It makes csgo unplayable (lags) and my tabs in chrome keep refreshing every time I switch between them...

Open Resources Monitor and see whats taking all of your RAM.

the problem is you only have 1gb. I would suggest getting at least 64gb for your uses

Can you show us the running processes in task manager?

check the task manager to see if something is running in the back on startup, also run a virus/malware scan

Task Manager leaves stuff out. The Memory tab in Resource Monitor is what you want. Sort by Commit to pull the culprit(s) up.
