I am gonna join college early next year and I will be doing a computer science course which involves a lot of programming and one CAD and CAM work as well . I plan to use my Macbook Pro to write lectures and stuff like assignments ,etc... I want to build a PC for all my programming and stuff , I might also do a bit of gaming on it as well.
I need a suggestion for a full build including a monitor and peripherals(mouse, keyboard only)

I will be using this rig for 4-5 years so keep that in mind.

My budget is abt 1500$

Thanks a lot in advance everyone..:)

CAD is more CPU or GPU bound? Is there a need for fast storage like an M.2 drive?

Replace the 390 with a 980 ti. The Gigabyte G1 Gaming is pretty good.

This is what I recommend getting if you are interested in 2560x1080p at 144Hz. If not tell me so I can put together something more suitable.

I got you before. I have the thread open since you posted it and I followed it. Although unnecessary here, quoting is a good thing.
