I am trying to choose a new all round tiny ultrabook. I am still using a Nokia Bootlet for travel and internet browsing. So, I decided that XPS 13 9350 will be a good upgrade for me.
But I have hit a wall when it comes to choosing CPU option. There are two i7 options, 6500U and 6560U. One is equipped with HD 520, other with Iris 540 iGPU.
There are also weird quirks when it comes to temps and battery life of both.
According to Notebookcheck, 6500U runs much hotter, with top heating 12 degrees celsius more than 6560U.

But, battery life in their WiFi test is two hours less than 6500U, which achieved 7h.

I find it weird that hotter laptop runs longer, so I investigated, and it turns out that there was an issue with Bios that was fixed in an update. Said update upgraded battery life of 6500U variant from 5h33min to 7h12min. I assume that it might have also affected temps. Notebookcheck updated their battery test results after and update, but thermal image might have not been updated and reflects state before update.
So, after such a lengthy introduction to the problem, my question is:
Is it worth pursuing 6560U with it's upgraded Iris graphics? Should I choose a unit that runs cooler, but shorter, or much hotter, but longer, although that seems like a paradox given that they have the very same cooling system, body and battery.

I will use apps such as: Obviously Chrome, virtualbox(for Whonix mainly), Sketchup, PRO100(furniture specialized CAD/CAM), Blum Dynalog(also a CAD/CAM app for furniture industry).
