Hi,

I installed my hyper evo 121 today, however, the fan was faulty and I now need to get another tomorrow (I know someone who is going to give me a spare). My question is, can I use my PC for youtube, browsing for to meantime as long as temps stay withing normal boundaries?

Thanks,

Ron.

As long as the CPU load remains low you could get away with it. If temps go too high the CPU will throttle to protect itself, and performance will take a dive.

Oh you're absolutely fine! As long as your front intake and rear exhaust fans are working then you have nothing to worry about. People who are crazy about silent systems don't even bother with the fan(s). The heat will still dissipate, just at a slower rate.
