What type of build todo!

Hey, New to the forum

 

love the channel and linus has inspired me....might cause some wallet issues. 

 

I would like to build a new pc for the wife and I. We both game, record and stream. So after watching 2 gaming rigs 1 cpu as well as Linus personal rig. It made me think. 

Love the idea of having a rack in the office cupboard. keep the noise down. 

Is it possible to build 2 gaming rigs, a streaming machine and a NAS into one "tower" 

 

So far my thoughts are, two Asus MX27UQ. Running off a display port into thunderbolt. Due to length of cable. 

Motherboard due to thunderbolt would be ASUS z170 premium

Would like to run Unraid from a M.2 SSD (not sure what size)

A Corsair PSU that would suit...

Not sure how much memory or what Cpu to use for this situation. 

A intel Pci-E SSD. havnt decided what size yet.

Apart from that I was thinking WD black 2TB drives. Not sure how many, due to have never set up a NAS or a raid. 

 

I think that covers it. oh, graphics cards. 

Have GTX780 currently. Maybe two 780ti? one for each "rig".

 

A capture card for the streaming "rig" which will have its own monitor, off the shelf Dell i believe. 

 

will need a sound card for the studio Mics. (two, one for each gaming rig).
