Move OS to ssd???? :O

How can i move only my os to my new ssd. All i can find on the internet is how to clone my drives and i dont want to do that

Your options are pretty much to either do a clean install on the SSD, or clone everything that's on your HDD.

 

Could you give some more info on why cloning isn't an option, or what in particular you don't want to have transferred from your HDD?

I can see why he wouldn't want to clone his HDD onto his SSD.  My recommendation is do a clean install then, you can use the Windows (if you aren't on Linux) Media Creation Tool to do a fresh install of your OS.

If it's Windows 10, you can reset it to a fresh install. Then clone it. Easy :)

I don't understand why you don't want to clone?
