xbox 360 audio

I Have an xbox hooked up to an hdmi to dvi converter, and from there to my monitor. But that means i dont have audio, is there a way to fix this problem?

DVI doesn't transport an audio signal, so no, you won't have audio. However seeing as your monitor has built in speakers, it should also have an HDMI port, so why not just use that directly instead of using an adapter?

Sorry, miswrote what i ment, what i mean is: can i get audiofrom the analog cable when using hdmi? I am willing to spend 20 e for a solution
