GTA V .. WTB but..

I have option to get GTA V for € 36,- from the Humble Store. But is it fun to play Online when none of my friends have it? I would be playing it alone.

is it fun online alone? eh not really, i do enjoy the free roam events tho but that only like 30 min of fun at a time. if there is a reason to get it it would be for the story mode.

Thanks, I know that Story mode is good but I never played it Online so I wouldnt know.

ill tell you this. if you like to grind on races, shitty missions and heists for days and weeks just to get the money to buy a car and then grind for weeks to months again just to upgrade the car then online is for you. unless you buy in game cash, $100 for 8mill in game. and dont even mention having to buy the house/garage to store the cars.

 

the only reason i have nice cars and the best house is because when online first came out i took advantage of every glitch found to get money. and evne with the glitches that are now patched it took me a good 40 hours of selling the same car over and over to get 20 mill. and then on the first free DLC i spend it all because of how high prices most of the DLC stuff is. its free because they make you buy cash cards to be able to buy the cars/houses/tanks and what not.

You can earn a million a week without heists, VIP missions and too much effort. Add those first two and your income rises exponentially.

I play primarily on single player because I like to use car mods and LSPDFR!

I highly recommend playing with friends.  Either hit up the LFG subforum, or find another community that plays regularly (like REBL on reddit), or anything like that if you have to.  Playing online alone won't do you much good.  That being said, it's feasible to strike out on your own sometimes, in which you can do missions and a few jobs by yourself to level up and get cash (Missions, Survivals, and to an extent races), but the biggest payouts are from 4-man heists.

 

That said, story mode with mods are always there, and multiplayer mods are always floating around (FiveM, GTAV:MP, etc.)

Good hate ppl that says "is too hard to get cash" put a little effort on the game and you will end having a Deluxe Apartment, nice and armored cars, the full weapon set and more...

Just have to farm certain missions and do Heist's with friends (which is fun) and you are done.

After getting all of this, online it's just to do mayhem and kill ppl.
