What i5 cpu should I pair with an r9 390, 6500 or 6600? is the performance increase from the 6600 worth it?

I'm wanting to go with skylake. I'm good to spend some money around the price range for both of those cpus.

No. Pair it with the i5 6500.

if anything it will be like 2 fps difference

then I would honestly  go with the 6600K still because its a higher stock clock.  i was going to say 6500 but thinking about it  if you have the money to spring for the 6600K ,,, the higher clock will benefit you.

alright, it's just that z-boards for the skylake are pricey. i'm going with a b150 board

CPU-Boss (not reliable at all) shows little improvement in FPS, but the R9 390 is so powerful anyway that it really wont matter......
